Samaritan Inn Service Project

As part of our #OneFutureInitiative, we dedicate 2.5% of our time to service projects in our community. On April 12, 2023, our firm joined with Island Wealth Strategies to assist the Samaritan Inn with organizing its storage shed following the Inn’s annual Inn Bloom luncheon. With the additional space, the Inn will have an easier time receiving and sorting additional donations and decorations for various initiatives.

The Samaritan Inn has been serving the Collin County community since 1984. Since then, the Inn has made a positive impact in the North Texas area and in the lives of thousands of people experiencing homelessness. The Inn provides comprehensive services, including providing housing and teaching people new life skills to expedite their journey back to self-sufficiency. On a given night, approximately 160 people sleep at the Inn, of which 1 out of 3 are children. In the last year, the Inn served 619 residents, including single men, single women, and families. The Inn also has programs to help pets of people experiencing homelessness. If you know someone who may need the Inn’s services, please have them call 972-542-5302 or visit the Inn at 1514 N McDonald St, McKinney, TX 75071.

Our volunteer crew included James Creedon, Ty Edwards, Charles Wallace, and Christian Cowart.
