Creedon PLLC hits over $100,000 in Contributions to Our #OneFutureInitiative

In 2021, Creedon PLLC launched our One Future Initiative to solidify our commitment to our community and our planet. Through this initiative, we commit 5% of our yearly attorney time to pro bono representation and service projects and 5% of our total revenue to Good Works, including social and environmental projects. Visit our OFI Data Set to see all the impactful causes and organizations that Creedon is proud to support, including:

Ecologi - Ecologi is a Certified B Corp providing a platform for collective climate action, funding projects to reduce our carbon footprint and restore our natural environment. To date, we have funded the planting of 57,310 trees across 17 projects, including Forest Restoration in Kenya, Mangrove planting in Mozambique, Restoring the Andean Forests in Argentina, and many more. We have also prevented 262.24 tons of carbon dioxide and equivalents from being emitted through 32 verified carbon avoidance projects, including producing energy from waste rice husks in India, a wind power project in Thailand, and using waste biomass to produce electricity in Chile.

Human Rights Initiative of North Texas (HRI) is an organization we work with to support asylum seekers here in our part of Texas. HRI provides free legal services to people who have suffered human rights abuses. The organization also provides important social services such as job search assistance, workshops and youth programs, direct advocacy, and guidance on accessing benefits programs. HRI is a top-ranked organization on Charity Navigator. Creedon has donated funds to support HRI and participated in pro bono legal representation for asylum seekers. If you’d like to get involved too, you can make a donation or volunteer your time with HRI.
