March Service Project at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Collin County

As part of our #OneFutureInitiative, we dedicate 2.5% of our time to service projects in our community. On March 16, 2023, our attorneys volunteered at the Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) of Collin County. We cleaned areas of the Speese Campus to help provide a healthy, clean, and welcoming environment to clients of the advocacy center.

The new full-service Speese campus in McKinney is the advocacy center’s second location. CAC of Collin County has served over 75,000 children and families since the center opened in Plano in 1992, providing “life-changing services” for children and families who have been victimized by child abuse, according to its website. The centers offer family advocacy services, forensic interviews and counseling completely free to clients. For more information about CAC of Collin County and to learn how to get involved, please visit www.caccollincounty.org.

Our volunteers included James Creedon, Christian Cowart, Ty Edwards, Adam Kubota, Shannon Straughan, Anjie Vichayanonda, and Charles Wallace.
