Charles Wallace Discusses Copyright with Visual Arts of Prosper

On January 20, Charles Wallace will present to the monthly meeting of Visual Arts of Prosper and discuss how intellectual property issues affect artists. As Visual Arts shares on their website, “Charles will share industry insights as well as the law relating to copyrights, trademarks, and other protections for creative works. The world of intellectual property is a complex one, but Charles will bring his passion for art and creativity to a discussion that is sure to answer some of the more complex questions many artists may have concerning developing their personal brand and protecting their creative works.”

Charles writes regularly on this topic for the Law on Tap blog, and is often featured in the Top 10 list of Texas Bar Today. Some of his relevant writings include Reclaiming Your Rights as an Author, The Art of the Nonprofit, and Music Law for PRO’s.
